SimpleTicket Update

SimpleTicket.jpgThe boys at Architel (in conjunction with the WebWorks Team) have been hard at work trying to get SimpleTicket out the door before Thanksgiving.  What is it?

SimpleTicket is a fully functional trouble ticket system for either a single business or a IT service provider supporting multiple clients.  The system was written using Ruby on Rails and has touches of Ajax for asthetic reasons.  The system includes various folksonomies elements including the ability tag tickets, subscribe to RSS feeds associated with tickets, scheduling for engineers, task lists, statistics and so on.

open_source_button.pngThe project is being hosted by SourceForge and will be released under a GPL license.  The software will be available to anyone for free under the terms of the GPL license.  Architel will offer hosting and/or customization of the system on January 1, 2006.
